It was more fun that I expected. Clear instructions and a judgment free environment for beginners. The best recommendation I can give is my repeated business and we'll definitely be back for another class. Some constructive feedback would be to maybe offer a drink or some other refreshments to round out the ambience and encourage a little more socializing among the students. Just a warning for couples - this class is very much a classroom environment. It's not a night out and it's held in a rec center in a park next to baseball and soccer fields. Despite that, it was fun and very educational. 5/5 I would recommend.

Salsa with Tomaj is pretty much the best way to learn Salsa step by step. I have been trying to learn comfortably for years, but signing up with him, I already feel like going out to clubs and showing what I've learned.

I highly recommend Tomaj's classes. I've had lessons at 4 east bay venues but Tomaj is the best - hands down. You just have to try them out and it will be immediately clear. He is focused, explains things very clearly and knows how to pace the class so that everyone learns.
