Took my fiance here for a birthday surprise to make a mosaic, and it was so much fun! Very friendly and great teaching, the only problem was we didn't have enough time to finish our (over-ambitious) creations. BUT, she let us take home what we needed to finish before coming back to do the grout work. Plus they had some very cool art on the walls and local-made art for sale (prints, jewelry, wallets, etc.). If you're looking to do something local in Chicago and learn something new, make sure you check it out!
